Ora is a very sunny wine village with approx. 3000 inhabitants located amidst the
Castelfeder holiday region. Imposing
mountain scenery, traditional farms, impressive
castles and well looked after orchards characterise the village appearance.
Ora is located in the heart of the
Bolzano & its environs region not far from the warmest alpine lake (
Caldaro Lake), and near
Bolzano, the capital of
South Tyrol, where the trade fair centre is located. In the vicinity of
Ora you'll also find the worldwide renowned Dolomites with their picturesque mountains and
ski resorts. Only recently, the
Dolomites were declared a
World Natural Heritage site by UNESCO. The Dolomite road, which quickly brings you to the heart of the Dolomites, starts in Ora.
